Deadpool 2 FINALLY dropped its epic first full-length trailer today, giving us our first look at the foul-mouthed hero's new "super-duper f**king" team.

And one of the many, many highlights of the clip was our first glimpse of Terry Crews in character, officially confirming that he's part of the film.

More than that, it looks like we now know exactly who the actor is playing: Bedlam, aka Jesse Aaronson, who in the comics has the ability to project pain and confusion onto his enemies.

Confirmation seems to come halfway through the trailer, as we see a montage of the heroes Deadpool is assembling to form his X-Force mutant team.

As Wade flicks through photos of his potential new 'friends', we seem to see a photo of Crews with the name 'Bedlam' written on it.

It's blink-and-you'll-miss-it taken to the extreme, but have a look around 1.38 in the video below:

The trailer also shows Crews brutally smashing a bad guy into the ground on the street – so whether or not the movie keeps Bedlam's powers the same as in the comic, he's clearly a force to be reckoned with.

If he retains his original comic powers, he'll also have the ability to project a bio-electromagnetic field and disable electrical equipment.

We can definitely see why Deadpool would want someone with those powers on his side.

Deadpool 2 is released on May 16 in the UK and May 18 in the US. Although plot details have been scarce so far, it looks like the film will focus on a mutant teenager (Julian Dennison) that Deadpool is trying to protect from Cable (Josh Brolin), who's intent on taking him out.

And if you're not sure who Cable is, check out our comprehensive history of the character here.
