Deadpool 3 star Hugh Jackman shares new skin cancer scare
Hugh Jackman has revealed a new skin cancer scare in a social media video.
The actor, who is set to appear in Deadpool 3, has had a number of procedures in the last decade to remove skin cancers.
However, in a new video shared online, Jackman revealed he had just been to the doctors, where she noticed "little things" that could or could not be basal cell carcinomas – which is a common form of skin cancer.

"Hey guys. So I wanted you to hear it from me just in case someone sees me on the street or whatever. I've just had two biopsies done, I just went to my doctor," the star began.
"She just saw little things – could be or could not be basal cell, in her opinion. She doesn’t know. I'll find out in two or three days, and as soon as I know, I'll let you know."
Jackman went on to remind followers that "basal cells in the world of skin cancers is the least dangerous of them all", though reminded fans to wear sunscreen.
You’ve heard me talk about my basal cell carcinomas before. And I’m going to keep talking about them, if need be. If just one person remembers to put on sunscreen with a high SPF, I’m happy. pic.twitter.com/J1srAzWQt0

Jackman is currently preparing for his return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, and back in January opened up about how he's got back in shape for the role, denying he had used steroids.
"No. I love my job, and I love Wolverine – I got to be careful what I say here, but I had been told, anecdotally, what the side effects are of that, and I was like, ‘I don’t love it that much’. So no, I just do it the old-school way," he told Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?.
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming on Disney+, and also available on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray. Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has a release date of September 6, 2024.
