Dean Gaffney trolled after he reveals his bank details in Instagram bungle

Dean Gaffney is getting an online ribbing, after a bungled snap posted on Instagram appears to have revealed his bank details.

The 40-year-old EastEnders star is pictured posing with his 26-year-old girlfriend Rebekah Ward on a swanky night out.

“Blue steel!?!” he captions. “She drives me crazy but she is special to me!”

But tucked in the corner of the shot, Dean has his Barclays bank card in view, clutched in his hand as Rebekah sits on his knee.

“Cheers for your bank details,” quipped one wag.

“Mr. & Mrs. Gaffney Sort Code/Account Number,” joked another.

Even celebrity chum Calum Best joined in with: “Watch that bank card.”

According to The Sun, he later deleted the picture, and then re-posted it with the numbers now less visible.

Gaffney, who plays luckless Robbie Jackson in EastEnders, has been in a relationship with Ward since 2016. He split with his Sarah Burge, the mother of his twin 21-year-old daughters, in 2015.

He spoke recently about concerns among the cast over the appointment of new EastEnders boss Kate Oates.

“Of course Kate will make changes. That’s inevitable,” he told The Daily Mirror. “I think you wouldn’t be human if you weren’t worried when your contract comes up for renewal.

“Mine doesn’t come up for a while, so I’m okay for the moment, but it’s squeaky bum time for every actor, no one is bigger than any show.”
