Yahoo News Death in Paradise series 8 reveals full guest cast
The eighth series of Death in Paradise has welcomed a bunch of well-known TV faces to its cast.
Officer Dwayne Myers - played by Strictly Come Dancing star Danny John-Jules - may have left the Caribbean island for good, but it looks like the murder mystery show has attracted some really great talent to heal that wound.
Via Radio Times, the likes of Downton Abbey's Robert James-Collier, Call the Midwife actress Charlotte Ritchie and The Inbetweeners' resident goofball, Blake Harrison, have all secured guest roles on the upcoming series.
The talent doesn't halt there either, with Poldark and The Thick of It's Rebecca Front appearing, alongside Holby City star Chizzy Akudolu and EastEnders' Richard Blackwood.
Blake had this to say about his involvement with the much-loved show: "It was a privilege to be part of such an established and loved show such as Death in Paradise. All of the cast and crew were fantastic to work with, except for one scene stealing tortoise…"
Meanwhile, Richard - who'll also appear in the new series of Dancing on Ice - revealed: "I watch Death in Paradise religiously. So to get the opportunity to work on the show with actors that I truly admire was more than a blessing!"
Death in Paradise series 8 begins Thursday 10 January at 9pm on BBC1.
