Will Mellor and Death In Paradise star Ralf Little are teaming up for a brand new series.

The pair, recognised for their roles in Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, will be facing a range of challenges in each episode of Will And Ralf Should Know Better as they navigate life in their forties.

The show, due to air on the newly rebranded U+Dave channel, will feature the duo exploring the trials of living off-grid without toilet paper, embracing spirituality, and confronting their fears of ageing. An insider revealed to The Sun: "A lot has changed for Will and Ralf since Two Pints - they were 25 and 21 when they met."

They continued: "But they have remained great friends throughout and that really comes across in the intimate, frank conversations they have along the way."

The source also referred to their joint podcast, saying: "They've got their joint podcast, but it will be nostalgic for 'Two Pints' fans to see them on telly," reports Wales Online.

The programme is also anticipated to reintroduce the actors to audiences who may now associate Ralf more with his role as DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise, and Will from his appearances on Strictly and as Harvey Gaskell in Corrie.

Ralf, 44, shared his enthusiasm about reuniting with his old friend, stating: "I am thrilled to be working with Will again as it's always so much fun. This time we get to explore how we should be living in the modern world while educating ourselves, and having a laugh at the same time."

Meanwhile, the 48 year old star Will is optimistic about gaining insights from this journey. He said: "I've wanted to do a series like this for years. Going on a journey with Ralf to open our minds and push our limits . . . what could possibly go wrong?

"We're both in our forties and probably a bit set in our ways, so now is the perfect time to see how we could be doing life better. Hopefully, we'll come out of it better equipped for the modern world and, ideally, still in one piece."

Last year Will, best known for his character Gaz Wilkinson in Two Pints Of Larger And A Packet Of Crisps, expressed his desire to revive the show. Speaking to the Daily Mail he revealed, "I said I would do another one, just to say thank you to the people who supported it because it ran for ten years.

"Every day someone will talk to me about it. It was their favourite show growing up, it had a cult following and it'd be nice to do another series just to see where they are now," the Strictly Come Dancing star elaborated.
