Drivers have been told to expect delays in northern Lincolnshire as an abnormal load is transported through the region today.

The load is being escorted from Immingham Docks on the A160 and A180 westbound and then the A18 westbound, before joining the M180. Police advised traffic will be affected and drivers should "avoid the area" if possible.

Humberside Police said in a statement: "Motorists are expected to experience some delays whilst an abnormal load is transported from Immingham Docks this morning.
