Dorset Council has confirmed the next two roads to be resurfaced on Portland.

Work will begin on Tuesday, May 28 to resurface Pennsylvania Road from its junction with Weston Street and Wakeham Road.

There will be no parking available on the road and some traffic management will be installed as the workforce works its way along the road.

Simultaneously, work will begin to resurface Southwell Road from its junction with Weston Street and its junction with Avalanche Road.

Again no parking will be available and some traffic management will be in place to allow for the convoy working.

There will also be 10mph speed limits in place along the roads whilst work is underway and delays in the area are likely.

These works follow on from Dorset Council confirming that resurfacing has been completed on High Street/Portland Bill Road, Avalanche Road, Weston Street.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections
