Delays warning over two-day lane closure on main road into Nuneaton

Drivers are being warned that 'delays are likely' during a two-day long lane closure on a main road into Nuneaton. Coton Road is due to be down to one lane, heading towards the town centre, from Saturday, April 27.

It will in place from 8am until 5pm on Saturday and also on Sunday (April 28). This is for Severn Trent utility repair and maintenance works. The works are listed as 'delays are likely' on Warwickshire County Council's online roadworks map.

The roadworks that have been in place on nearby Greenmoor Road are set to continue. The multi-way signals will remain until May 3 for Cadent works taking place along the road.

Also, on nearby Croft Road, there will be multi-way signals in place from tomorrow (Thursday, April 25). Firstly for Virgin Media works. Then, there will be another set of multi-way signals in place until May 5 for Cadent works in the area.

On Vernons Lane, between 9.30am until 3.30pm from April 29 to May 1 there will be multi-way signals in place for Severn Trent works in the area, just after the junction with Black-A-Tree Road and Barpool Road.

Overnight on May 1 and May on Queens Road, near to The Crew, one lane will be closed. Further up on Queens Road, close to junction with Sainbury's Local, there will be multi-way signals on Friday, May 3 for county council roadwork patching works.

Over in Attleborough, on Attleborough Road, there will be multi-way signals in place between April 29 and May 1 for OpenReach works. Also on nearby Eastboro Way, there will be two-way signals in place from April 30 to May 3 for county council highways improvement works.
