Yahoo News Dermot O’Leary tells James Argent he is ‘punching’ with 19-year-old girlfriend Stella
The former TOWIE star saw the funny side as the This Morning host cheekily implied his girlfriend is too hot for him
This Morning host Dermot O’Leary stunned viewers when he told former TOWIE star James Argent that he is “punching”.
The ITV daytime presenter was sat beside co-host Holly Willoughby for Wednesday’s instalment of the hit programme when Argent, 35, joined them for a chat about his events entertainment band, The Arg Band.
Argent has been very open over the years about his dream of being a wedding singer and now feels he has “finally” achieved his goal with the band.

He said: “I’m a full time wedding singer, so I’m finally doing what I’ve always wanted to do.”
As the conversation turned to focus on love however O’Leary couldn’t help but slip in a cheeky comment on his 19-year-old lover, Stella Turian.
Willoughby kicked off the conversation: “Your love life’s very fulfilled at the moment - you’ve got a new girlfriend.”
Argent grinned as he replied: “Yes, I’ve got a new girlfriend…”
O’Leary then interrupted as he quipped: “You are punching!”
Argent then laughed and said: “She looks like a young Sophia Loren or Monica Bellucci.”
Willoughby then heaped praise on his choice of woman as she called her “beautiful” and “gorgeous.”

Argent then confirmed that his girlfriend lives in Italy as he complimented her further adding: “She does, she lives in northern Italy. Yeah, she’s very special, she’s a great woman.”
O’Leary then congratulated him on the romance saying: “Arg. Well done,” as Argent joked: “God knows how I’ve done it. I think she thought I was an English Michael Buble, that’s what I tried to tell her anyway.”
Taking to social media to discuss the appearance some viewers were left unimpressed by O’Leary’s interaction with Argent.

One tweeted: “Dermot couldn't give a flying s*** about Arg...bit rude if you ask me commenting on his gf that he's punching.”
Elsewhere fans of the show took to Twitter to compliment Argent on turning his life around.
One offered: “ARG looking amazing [heart eyes emoji] he’s done so well”.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX.
