Dermot O’Leary To Host Cookery Show With Gino D’Acampo

According to The Sun, Dermot is teaming up with chef extraordinaire Gino D’Acampo for a TFI Friday-style cookery show, which is rumoured to be called Live at the Trattoria.

Fancy.

The show will reportedly have celebrity guests and music stars, with Gino dishing out cookery tips and showing off his culinary skills.

A source told the newspaper: “Dermot coming back to ITV with The X Factor is a big deal. Bosses have high hopes for him across the network.

“If the pilot of Live At The Trattoria is a success they will order a series — meaning he will have two big weekend shows on.”

The Sun also reports that the pair have already recorded a pilot for the show, which had Michelle Keegan as the celebrity guest.

Earlier this week, the newspaper claimed that Dermot has been told he can ‘name his price’ for his return to The X Factor, with the presenter allegedly in talks about a potential three-year contract.

An insider said: “Dermot will come back to The X Factor. Talks are under way on his deal but everything is positive. Everyone, including Dermot and Simon, has the will to make it work.”
