Detective Cooper may FINALLY head back to Twin Peaks

From Digital Spy

Warning: This article contains spoilers from Twin Peaks: The Return episode 11, which aired in the US last night.

It only took 25 years, 11 episodes and a whole load of eerieness to get there, but it looks like the Detective Dale Cooper we all know and love may finally be coming back to our screens.

No, YOU'RE excited.

Following a trip to the red room, Coop has spent the first 11 episodes of the revival series in a dream-like state, living under the pretence that he is actually Dougie Jones.

However, it looks like the return of our favourite coffee-drinking and upstanding FBI agent may be rather imminent indeed, as he uttered those three immortal words fans have been waiting to hear all season long.

Damn. Good. Pie.

Elsewhere in Peaks-ville, Becky (Amanda Seyfried) was not dealing well with the revelation Steven was being unfaithful and as a result, almost killed Becky (Madchen Amick) with her car.

And, following the Kubrick-like episode that was Part 8, Dougie's trip to the desert to get his pie in this week's episode drew a lot of comparisons to David Fincher's Seven, what with the desert and the box and the two men waiting for him on the other side and everything.

(Although, we're pretty sure Cooper was supposed to be the good guy in this particular segment – a sentiment which was made only more spine-tingling when those very same three words were uttered.)

Right. That's our piece. Here's what the fans thought of Part 11.
