Dick and Dom have said their comedy might be considered "too edgy" for TV in 2022.

The former children's TV presenters - real names Richard McCourt, 45, and Dominic Wood, 44 - rose to fame on CBBC 25 years ago and their show Dick and Dom In Da Bungalow featured innuendo entitled games they believe would not be greenlit today.

Wood told Good Morning Britain: "I think some of the content would be seen as maybe a bit edgy.

"We had some games that had kind of slightly.... 'Puppies That Lick Their Own Vases' was a game. There was another game called 'What A Sweaty Flap'. That was a good one... 'Make Dick Sick'.

McCourt added: "And of course creamy muck muck. Would you like to be covered in creamy muck muck? That was basically a word that we used for custard."

In Da Bungalow saw contestants gunged with 'creamy muck muck' whilst competing to win prizes such a games console.

Dick and Dom are perhaps most remembered for their game 'Bogies', which saw them compete to say the word 'bogies' the loudest in public places such as the library and the supermarket.

The kids TV stars have previously admitted that their game 'Baldy Slap Heads' would now be considered offensive.

McCourt said last year: "The rulebook since then has got bigger."

Wood added: "We got people to hold puppies, which would lick dog food off vases. It was very funny. The dogs were happy, but nowadays that just would not be allowed.”

After Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow was cancelled in 2006, Dick and Dom presented several series of quiz show Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year Old? and fronted BBC science programme Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom.

Last year they attempted to make a comeback with adult game show, Cash from Chaos.
