Did AGT Just Find Its Next Winning Dance Crew? Watch Brent Street Stun the Judges in Week 4

After 19 seasons, you’d think the America’s Got Talent judges have seen it all — but you’d be wrong.

Tuesday’s episode, which marked the season’s fourth week of auditions, ended with a “very, very, very exciting” dance number that Heidi Klum described as “something we’ve never seen before.”

The act in question was an Australian dance crew called Brent Street, named for the dance academy from which they hail. Led by teenage dancer Zac Degersigny, the 28-member group (did we miss anyone?) performed a stunning, synchronized routine set to “Hope” by rapper NF.

Dance enthusiast Sofia Vergara was also blown away by the audition, calling it “the coolest thing I’ve seen today.” She also dropped this astute nugget of criticism: “The beginning was spectacular… and the rest was as good as the beginning!” Thanks for that.

For Simon Cowell, the impressive part of the audition was “less about what they were doing with their bodies and more about what they were doing with their brains,” calling the whole thing “well-thought-out, creative and original.”

And then there was Howie Mandel. But wait, where did he go? His fellow judges looked around in confusion as he gave his critiques from seemingly nowhere… until he popped out from underneath the table to slap his hand down on the Golden Buzzer.

Did Brent Street’s audition leave you stunned, or would you have given the Golden Buzzer to another of this week’s acts? Read on for a breakdown of everyone sent through in Week 4, then drop a comment with your personal favorite(s).

1. Daks Dominoes

After winning Fox’s Domino Masters back in 2022, this twosome decided to try their luck at AGT. And while there’s no question that this was an impressive feat, both in terms of physics and patience, we’re not sure we’d pay to see it on a Vegas stage. But maybe that’s just us.

2. Daniel Simu

You want to talk about something we’ve never seen before? How about this human-robot dancing duo! Heidi’s attempt to “X” them out of the competition was as mystifying as the act itself.

3. Flewnt and Inkabee

If there was an award for coolest act of the night, it would go to Flewnt and Inkabee, a father-son rap duo from Australia. That kid can spit.

4. Hypers Kids Africa

They may not have earned a Golden Buzzer, but this Ugandan dance team still left quite an impression on the judges. And that little guy got some air.

5. Jo De Rijck

A mind-reading chicken who can predict your deepest fear? The judges were probably too scared not to send this one through, and they were right to do so.

6. L6

It was this their late mother’s wish for this Filipino family to perform on the AGT stage, and we know she was smiling down on them throughout their performance of “All By Myself.” That said, we’re not sure Simon needed to interject and make them sing it a cappella. We were already plenty impressed, though not as impressed as Simon seemed to be with himself.

7. Maya Neelakantan

This girl’s guitar-shredding skills are even more impressive when you remember that she’s just 10 years old, a fact that left the judges gobsmacked. Never mind the fact that this was her first time ever performing on stage for an audience.

8. Stephanie Rainey

This struggling singer-songwriter made everyone emotional with her performance of “Please Don’t Go,” a powerful ballad she wrote about losing her nephew shortly before his first birthday. The only thing we struggled to do was hold back our tears.
