Yahoo News Did Love Island's Jess and Mike hook up after all?
Not long after they were unceremoniously booted off the show, Love Island stars Jess and Mike were rumoured to have hooked up (poor Dom) – and the pair appeared on Love Island: Aftersun tonight (June 25) to reveal all.
It seems like despite all the rumours that have now reached back to the Villa thanks to Gabby and Marcel, it's actually a load of rubbish.
"We left the villa Mike and I, I was a hysterical mess," Jessica told host Caroline Flack.
"He had his arm around me because I was crying my eyes out when we got into the car.
"I wasn't in a good place at all. He was so there for me. It was lovely. We were together for a day on and off in the same villa but separate rooms.
"We never went into each other's rooms. Absolutely nothing happened. It's almost laughable."
Mike promised Caroline nothing happened and also confirmed they'd not been near each other's rooms at all.
"We are just friends. She's a good-looking girl but I don't fancy her," he said.
"We've spoken since we got back but that's only because she's the only person who knows what I'm going through.
"I'm the only person who knows what she's going through. The only reason I had my arm around her in the VT is because she was sad.
"We were both sad because we had both been evicted."
Well now that's all been settled, someone should really tell Dom as he stormed out of the villa after hearing the rumours.
Later in the Beach Hut, he said: "I know I was real. I was true to her and I thought it was special. If she's done what she's done, it clearly wasn't as special to her.
"So I've decided rather than worry about it, I will cross the bridge when it comes to it when I get out of here.
"But it's Love Island and I'm going to enjoy myself and embrace the opportunity I've got and thank myself lucky for still being here."
