Yahoo News Disney could revive Marvel's axed Netflix shows
Marvel's Netflix shows are dropping like flies, with Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist all getting axed of late.
However, Chairman of Direct-to-Consumer and International division of The Walt Disney Company, Kevin Mayer, has teased that Disney's new streaming service may bring the series back.
When asked by THR if Disney would consider reviving the Marvel shows axed by Netflix, Mayer replied: "They are very high-quality shows.

"We haven't yet discussed that, but I would say that's a possibility," he added.
Daredevil was recently cancelled following weeks of promising updates from showrunner Erik Oleson, who'd recently pitched a fourth season to the top cats over at Netflix.
First, however, Marvel and Netflix announced that Iron Fist had come to an end after just two seasons, and Mike Colter's show Luke Cage was cancelled just a few days later.

Some fans suspected that it was Marvel's owner Disney that had achieved what the likes of Davos and Bushmaster could not, defeating the heroes once and for all, but it was later revealed that these cancellations were actually down to Netflix.
Earlier this month, Daredevil's co-executive producer, Sam Ernst, revealed Marvel TV staff were "stunned" that the show was cancelled after three seasons.
Daredevil star Amy Rutberg later said that the Marvel show's axe was "purely a Netflix decision".
