Divers raise 19th century cannon from the depths of bay in Crimea

Divers from the Russian Emergencies Ministry successfully raised a historic 19th-century cannon from the depths of the sea near Matyushenko Bay in Sevastopol, Crimea, on March 27. Using air-filled pontoons and metal cables, the two-ton artillery piece adorned with the emblem of the Russian Empire was brought to the surface. Alongside the cannon, seven cannonballs were also recovered from the seabed.
