Doctor Who: Peter Capaldi hints at Clara Oswald axe

Doctor Who fans; prepare to be devastated, as one of the best characters may be getting axed.

Peter Capaldi - the current Doctor (as if you didn’t know) - has hinted that time may be running out for his sidekick Clara Oswald, played by Jenna Coleman.

Speaking to Doctor Who News, Peter said: “The thing that is tricky about the Doctor and his relationship with companions. You know, Christopher Eccleston said in his first episode, ‘I can see… everything. All there has ever been and all there ever will be. And that drives me mad’.

"So in a way, the Doctor knows the fate of all of his companions. That makes it… difficult. But [with Clara] he is deliberately enjoying the relationship and this great toy box of time and space that they can explore together. But of course, as it’s Doctor Who, there is an ever deepening shadow pursuing them.”

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!

In the same interview, neither Peter nor Jenna confirmed or denied they were definitely coming back for series 10! What is this cruel torture?

Jenna said: “We haven’t read the script to episode 12 yet.”

Peter added: “No, we haven’t got to the end of this series. So we don’t know yet what happens to us.”

These comments really aren’t helped either by the fact that Jenna wanted to leave Doctor Who last year but decided to stay after reportedly being persuaded by BBC bosses.

OH GOD! DON’T LEAVE US, JENNA!
