Yahoo News Doctors spoiler: 'Nine Lives'
Karen is in a desperate place after yesterday's return home, as Rob is nowhere to be seen. She turns to Rob's friend and colleague DCI Driver. Their conversation provides revelations for both of them over what has been happening and Rob's possible state of mind.
Driver kicks the full power of Letherbridge police into gear to search for Rob, looking everywhere that he might be. Karen joins the search and thinks she's found him, but it turns out to be a homeless person.
Meanwhile, at The Mill, Al turns to Jimmi for advice on Ayesha, but Jimmi is stumped. Over lunch, Al remarks on the stupidity of a study which suggests that doing good deeds for others can improve physical health. Jimmi disagrees but Al says he can prove it, and plans to do so in typical 'Al' fashion.
Soon afterwards, Mrs Tembe is in receipt of a gift from an unknown sender. Jimmi twigs where this has come from and presses Al, who insists he feels no beneficial effects from this random act of kindness.
Elsewhere, Geoffrey the cat gives Valerie 'paws' for thought.
