From Digital Spy

At breakfast, Al tells Eve that he has a tricky patient due in today and asks if he can practise a psychometric test on her. Eve agrees, but she fumbles over quite a few of the questions, struggling to remember the name of the prime minister. Al is very concerned, but later his mum throws him off by giving him some of the answers. He wonders if she was playing him.

At work, Al confides in Heston over his worries. Heston asserts that the test was hardly done in the right environment, adding there are various reasons she could have memory problems. Heston argues that he is jumping to the worst conclusion possible with dementia.

Al reveals how his mum has lightened up since his dad died – they were getting on so well, but it's all just the dementia. Heston tells him to talk to his mother and to stop making it about him.

Meanwhile, tensions are high between Zara and Daniel. Joe is bored, constantly kicking a ball against a wall, and the Wi-Fi isn't working. Rob arrives in the middle of their argument with a Christmas tree and decorations, suggesting it will brighten things up. They are not impressed.

Rob reveals that La Toya is on the mend, but in no fit state to testify. Zara gets Rob alone and asks him to promise her that all of this will be worth it, as she is putting her family through so much. Rob can't make any promises and tells her it is now all down to her testimony.

Elsewhere, Emma helps an independent woman who needs support.
