Dog Missing For Two Weeks Suddenly Reappears At His Owner’s Funeral

A dog who went missing for 15 days turned up at the funeral of his owner to say goodbye.

Bayron lived with Doña Rosalba Quiroz on her ranch in Montemorelos, Mexico, but went to live with relatives when she was struck down with cancer a few months ago.

She asked her family to look after Bayron when her health took a turn for the worse but they found the dog had vanished when they went to pick him up.

Two weeks later, Quiroz died from the disease and a funeral was held a few miles from her home.

Unbelievably, Bayron then showed up outside, desperate to be let in so he could say his final goodbyes.

A funeral home worker told El Sol: “We normally don’t let animals in, but the dog was howling and scratching at the door, so we brought him in.”

The funeral home owner added: "We’ve never seen a case like this.

”We’re all surprised how the animal without knowing arrived alone to say goodbye to his owner.”

Bayron lay next to his owner’s coffin during the ceremony and was later pictured viewing the body along with family.
