The animal had run onto the tarmac and it was left seriously injured as a result of its “manhandling”.

The 23-year-old owner of the animal said his dog, named Er Mao, suffered severe injuries to its eyes and body.

Eight members of staff are said to have spent 40 minutes chasing Er Mao before finally restraining it and putting it back in its cage.
