Donald Trump may be President of the United States but he most certainly didn't win thanks to the Hollywood vote with several A-listers candidly speaking out against the Republican. Jack Black can be added to the list, choosing to criticise Trump in a more madcap manner.

With Trump's inauguration still fresh in the world's mind, the actor was asked about the new President during a Variety panel for new film The Polka King at Sundance Film Festival.

Black said: “We’ve got to start thinking globally. We’re going to be working together, if we’re going to survive, if the human race, if this species is going to survive.

“Yeah, America first is fine, in terms of finances, but we’ve got to stop thinking that way. It’s not a Monopoly game where the rich billionaire wins the game. It’s about the world working together, and it’s got to happen soon.”

It was here where Black's co-star Willie Garson piped up.

“This whole concept of winning, what do you mean winning?" he asked. "At the expense of what? Winning, implied, is someone losing."

Black joked: “Who else has been talking about winning obsessively lately? Oh yeah. Charlie Sheen. When he was on crack."

“Where are we where the President and Charlie Sheen are on the same exact page?”

Last week, Black co-hosted an anti-inaugural ball with his Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass.

The Polka King tells the story of Jan Lewan (Black), a polka sensation who convinced his fans to invest into a Ponzi scheme. Jenny Slate, Jason Schwartzman, Jacki Weaver and Curb Your Enthusiasm actor J.B. Smoove also star.
