It’s probably not easy being President and even less so if you’re Donald Trump.

Faced with fierce criticism from even his own side, it may come as no surprise to hear that Trump is reportedly handed a folder twice a day that contains nothing but good news about himself.

According to VICE News, the 25-page document is handed to the President personally – once at 9.30am and then again at 4.30pm.

And rather than clarified intelligence or updates on American and global issues, the folder is apparently stuffed full of glowing tweets, news stories praising the President – and pictures of Trump looking powerful.

The report claims that White House staffers go through TV shows, newspapers and the Internet for as much positive material as they can find when they get into the office at 6am.

Explaining the reasoning behind the folder, a former official from the Republican National Committee told VICE: “Maybe it’s good for the country that the president is in a good mood in the morning.”

However, Trump’s former Press Secretary Sean Spicer shot down reports of such a folder, adding: “While I won’t comment on materials we share with the President, this is not accurate on several levels.”

Since Spicer’s departure, White House officials told the website that the document is now produced less frequently.
