Don't hassle the hop! No-eared rabbit named after Knight Rider star needs a home

A rabbit with a superstar name and an unfortunate past is looking for a home.

David Hasselhop isn't looking for freedom, but rather someone to care for him and his unusual needs - as he is missing his ears.

The cute critter recently arrived at RSPCA Northamptonshire after being rescued from a home where over 100 animals were being kept in inappropriate conditions.

Staff there believe he lost his ears when "they were nibbled off by his mother when he was young".

David is unfortunately also suffering from dental disease and is currently receiving treatment to make him more comfortable.

In his new home he needs lots of TLC after everything he's been through - plus a good diet featuring high-fibre hay - you could say this is one bunny who needs to go on hay watch!

Dental issues are common in rabbits; often caused by poor nutrition and imbalanced diets. It's important to feed rabbits the good-quality, high-fibre hay so they chew properly and wear their teeth down as they continuously grow through their lifetime.

They also need regular dental health checks. Rabbits are highly sociable animals and need company so David will be looking for a forever home with another rabbit for company. To offer him a home, please complete an adoption form: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSdC8VUllx0J8J.../viewform
