Dot Branning searched for porn on EastEnders tonight

It was quite the shock for Dot Branning on EastEnders this evening (February 23) and no - we're not talking about that car crash.

The long-reigning street legend got a bit of a surprise in the opening scenes of tonight's episode, after typing the word 'Bushes' into EastEnders' Google equivalent 'searchwise.net'.

To quote the lady herself: "Oh, I say."

While the results of her search didn't appear on screen, Dot looked horrified before hastily snapping shut her laptop.

Recounting the incident to her step-granddaughter Abi later in the episode, she complained that her search led to nothing but "ladies popping up with no bras".

While Dot was left red-faced, fans found the whole thing rather hilarious and took to Twitter to share their delight.

Not so funny, however, was the worrying car crash she got into at the end of tonight's show.

The episode was left on a cliffhanger after Dot was involved in a terrifying car accident with baby Matthew on board.

Dot was driving home from a day out at the garden centre with Matthew when her eyesight problems took hold and her car skidded off the road.

The matriarch, who has been struggling with her eyes in recent months, may just have her licence revoked in the coming months. We just hope she's okay in the meantime.

Eastenders continues tomorrow night (February 24) at 8pm on BBC One.
