I dreamt my brother was going to be a dad - then he sent me baby scan

A psychic mum who predicted her sister-in-law was pregnant in a DREAM was stunned when her brother replied with a baby scan pic - and joked she should predict lottery numbers.

Caoimhe McGoldrick went to sleep on the night of April 25th and dreamt her brother's girlfriend Diana Palacios had taken a pregnancy test that revealed she was eight weeks pregnant. In the dream the 23-year-old's delighted brother Michael Mcgoldrick announced the happy news to the family.

Straight after waking up the student nurse texted her 37-year-old brother about her night-time premonition. Michael shrugged off any suggestion it was true and simply replied 'your dreams are weird af', to which she replied 'I feel like I have the gift'.

But three weeks later the software developer coyly replied with a 12-week baby scan picture and a message that read 'go dream about winning the lottery. And tell me the numbers'. The 'freaked out' mum-of-one said she was over the moon by the news about the couple, who she's not seen since Christmas 2022 as they live in Australia and had plans to go travelling.

Caoimhe, from County Armagh, Northern Ireland, said: "I had a dream about my sister-in-law taking this pregnancy test and it being positive and for some reason I was in the room. They then went for a scan in the dream and the baby was eight weeks so my brother told everyone 'Diana's eight weeks pregnant'.

"As soon as I woke up I texted my brother. I didn't think much of it. I forgot about it to be honest until he sent me the 12-week scan. At first, I was confused when he said 'go dream about the lottery numbers', I thought 'what is he on about?'

"I rang him and he reminded me of the message I sent and I thought 'oh my God'. I was really freaked out. I could have dreamt it anytime over the last four years of them being together.

"Him and his girlfriend had been talking about travelling. I'd never really thought about him having a baby so it came out of the blue really. He was really creeped out because they waited 12 weeks and didn't tell anyone until then. It's very spooky."

Caoimhe says the dream has left her questioning her potential psychic abilities that she says arose after she had her own baby and she was introduced to meditation and reiki. Since the dream, the mum has even started keeping a dream journal in case anything else comes true.

Caoimhe said: "After I had my baby, I had quite bad anxiety so I tried going to a reiki healing session. I think it was from meditating that the dream could have happened.

"I looked up about it and it's to do with the seven chakras. Once you're calm you have a bit more intuition and you can be a bit more open to this kind of thing. My dreams can be quite vivid so I've started writing them down. I take a minute when I wake up to keep a dream diary, just like a journal.

"My cousin is usually quite good at this stuff too, she's had dreams that come true. She says anytime she goes to a fortune teller they always tell her she has some kind of gift.

"I'm definitely thinking about seeing one myself in the future just to see what they say. A lot of people don't believe in that kind of stuff but I do."

It's not the first time Caoimhe has predicted happy news before she's been told about it. Caoimhe said: "The only similar thing which has happened before is when my friend went on holiday with her long-term boyfriend last year.

"I had a dream she was engaged and then she rang up and said about them being engaged. I didn't really think anything of it though as they were going on holiday and they've been going out so long that I was kind of already thinking 'oh is he going to propose?'.

"She thought it was weird though."

Michael met Diana, who works as a chef, four and a half years ago and they currently live together in Melbourne, Australia with their border collie, Rocco. Their baby boy is due in November this year and Caoimhe says she's excited to be an aunty to her fifth nephew.

Diana said: "I'm really into all that mysticism, supernatural kind of thing so when I saw the texts from Caoimhe, I thought it was great." Michael said: "We're still waiting on her having a hocus pocus dream about winning lottery numbers. That's the real test of her psychic abilities."
