Driver Caught in High Winds and Rain as Hurricane Laura Batters Louisiana

Hurricane Laura made landfall early on the morning of August 27, striking southern Louisiana with winds of up to 150 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The NHC said the storm would bring a “catastrophic storm surge, extreme winds and flash flooding” to the state.

Power supplier ENTERGY reported tens of thousands were without power in Texas and Louisiana.
