Drone Captures Extensive Tornado Damage in Indiana

Powerful tornadic storms caused damage in Kentucky and east-central Indiana on Thursday, March 14, with wind gusts as high as 115 mph in parts, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Drone footage captured by Kendal Ryan Harris shows the damage around Winchester, Indiana, in Randolph County on Friday.

The NWS said assessment teams would be on the ground Friday to survey damage in the area. An NWS meteorologist told local media that teams “highly suspect” a tornado occurred in Winchester. Credit: Kendal Ryan Harris via Storyful
