Drone Captures Heart-Stopping Moment Shark Swims Near Surfer

Drone footage captured the heart-stopping moment a shark was spotted swimming near a surfer off the coast of Forster, Australia, in late May.

Noah Wallis shared this firsthand account to his social pages, where he detailed how nervous he was in the water after the drone operator flagged the shark to him.

The footage shows a shark appear after a wave crashes. It can be seen approaching Wallis before slowly swimming in another direction.

Once on shore, Wallis can be heard asking the drone operator if he thinks the shark was a great white, to which the operator responds saying he thinks it was a grey nurse shark. Credit: Noah Wallis via Storyful
