Drone Footage Illustrates Flooding Damage in Bedfordshire Following Storm Bella

Aerial footage shared to Twitter on December 26 shows the extent of flooding from the River Great Ouse in Bedford, UK, as a result of Storm Bella.

Emergency services rescued people from properties in the area on Christmas Day and emergency assistance centers were set up to provide shelter to residents.

Floodwaters persisted in Bedford on December 27, officials said. They cautioned residents to be vigilant, adding, “do not walk through floodwaters, they can contain unknown hazards.”
