Drug driver caught in Cornwall with no licence

A driver who had an expired provisional licence was caught driving under the influence of drugs in Cornwall.

Police stopped a Suzuki in Launceston last night (Monday, May 20) after it was suspected they were driving without a licence. Officers requested the driver take a roadside drugs test after it was suspected they were under the influence.

The result of the test came back positive for cannabis and cocaine. The driver was arrested at the scene and a blood sample was taken for analysis.
