Sarah Hyland, 29, was all legs as she arrived on the SAG Awards red carpet wearing a controversial low V-neck bubble mini dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. The “Modern Family” star’s floral number left many style critics disappointed.

While Hyland may have missed the mark style wise, she did manage to serve one of the best beauty looks of the evening: A sleek ponytail paired with a luminous, bronzed complexion and a pink high-shine lip. And best of all, the look was exclusively created with Covergirl products, according to her makeup artist Denika Bedrossian.

When it comes to shopping for makeup, we often assume price means quality, but this drugstore brand continues to prove us wrong.

Bedrossian gave fans a full breakdown of the actress’s makeup look on Instagram. She began with foundation, applying Covergirl’s vegan Clean Fresh Milk Skin Nourishing Foundation ($11) in a light/medium shade. She made the cheeks pop with a pink tint, using Clean Fresh Cream Blush in shade 330 - Sweet Innocence ($11). As for the eyes, she used the brand’s peach-scented TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette in Peach Punch ($12) and coated the lashes with the Exhibitionist Mascara ($10) before applying a set of ultra curly false lashes by Pinky Goat.

Bedrossian highlighted Hyland’s signature strong arches by lightly filling in the brows using Easy Breezy Brow Micro-Fine + Define Pencil ($9) in a soft brown shade. She sealed the entire look with the Exhibitionist Lipgloss ($10) with a soft pink shade called “Fling.”

Hyland wasn’t the only star wearing Covergirl on the red carpet. Lili Reinhart made her SAG Awards debut wearing a stunning black and white Miu Miu dress and Harry Winston jewels to match. Celebrity makeup artist Adam Breuchaud opted for fresh, clean skin and a show-stopping smokey eye look using Covergirl’s Clean Fresh line.

“For such a gorgeous dress with delicate embellishments and pretty details, we wanted to keep it young and cool,” Breuchaud said. “We went for a smokey eyeliner and fresh skin to add some drama to the look. I prepped her skin with Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk in 530 ($11) to create a sheer, clean finish. I then added some drama to the eyes with Covergirl Exhibitionist 24HR Kohl Eyeliner ($8) to create the shape, and added mauve and nude tones from the Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette ($12) to add depth.”

This past October, the “Riverdale” and “Hustlers” actress was named Covergirl’s newest brand ambassador.

“I have always been a big believer in embracing one’s uniqueness and finding ways to feel good in your own skin,” said Reinhart in an official press release. “Since I was 13, makeup has been an incredible source of confidence for me and a tool that can be used to enhance the natural beauty that exists in all of us. I am so honoured to partner with Covergirl, an iconic brand that is inclusive of anyone who finds the joy in playing with makeup.”

Reinhart’s hairstylist Renato Campora finished off the look with another drugstore find, using Dove Style + Care hair products for her twisted ballerina bun.
