In a recording, the 25-year-old star said: “London has a really important set of elections coming up on May 6.

“This is your chance to make sure your voice is heard and we can re-elect Sadiq Khan as our mayor.

“Due to the pandemic, the safest and easiest way to vote is by post.

“It really couldn’t be simpler but don’t delay – the deadline to apply is April 20. So join me and thousands of other Londoners and vote by post to make sure we re-elect Sadiq.

“Vote for London, vote Labour.”

Other candidates include the Conservative Shaun Bailey, Green Sian Berry and Lib Dem Luisa Porritt.
