Dudley cinema to show Eurovision grand final on big screen

EUROVISION fans in the Black Country can watch the grand final live on the big screen at Showcase Cinema in Dudley this weekend.

The 2024 contest will go ahead on Saturday May 11 in Malmo - following Loreen’s victory for Sweden at last year’s ceremony, with Showcase Cinemas set to show the proceedings at its cinema complex at Castlegate, from 8pm.

Eurovision fans are invited to watch the fun and cheer along the UK’s entry Dizzy which will be performed by Olly Alexander.

Jon Dixon, UK marketing director at Showcase Cinemas, said: “We cannot wait to screen the 2024 Eurovision Grand Final across our cinemas nationwide. The UK are in with a great shout with Olly Alexander and we’ll all be tuning in to see if he can bring home victory!

“We’re hoping to see guests don their favourite fancy dress inspired by acts of the years gone by, making it a party to remember across the country.”
