EastEnders fans beg 'please let her stay' amid fears icon is about to leave

EastEnders fans are urging Bianca Jackson to stay in the BBC One soap permanently amid fears she's about to leave Walford again.

Patsy Palmer reprised her iconic role as Bianca earlier this year when Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) visited Bianca in Milton Keynes. But Bianca then made an epic comeback to Walford at the end of April to visit pregnant Whitney and her half-sister Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).

As fans of the BBC soap will know, actress Shona McGarty is set to bow out of the show as Whitney prompting her step-mum Bianca's return more than 30 years after her first appearance. But now fans are hoping Bianca stays in Walford when Whitney is no longer around.

Taking to a Reddit forum dedicated to EastEnders, one fan wrote: "Bianca: please stay!". They then added: "Patsy Palmer is fantastic, and it’s clear the writers adore writing for her, giving her some of the best lines of the year so far."

Others immediately agreed with another fan writing: "Bianca is my queen. The fierceness that she brings is powerful as a lioness!".

A third chimed in with: "Bianca is an all time classic top 5 character for me, but I can’t imagine Patsy ever returning full time. She seems to have a great life in California and tbh I’m surprised she’s even come back for this long."

"She’s great. I agree, she should stay permanently", added one fan. While another asked: "I didn’t realise she was back for a longer stint, thought it was just a single episode again. So it’s been great to see her in the caff again. Anyone know how long she’s back for?."

While another explained: "Patsy Palmer has made Bianca into one of the best EastEnders characters of all time. She’s tough, feisty, vulnerable and funny. And her delivery of both comedic and dramatic material never fails.

"No other character has made me laugh and cry like she has. As much as I’d love her to be back on the screen permanently as Bianca, it’s unlikely - and that is very much our loss."
