‘Dune 2’ Holds Strong as Title Consumers Are Most Excited About This Week | Chart

What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.

ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment items every week along with whether each has gained or lost momentum versus the prior week. The chart will live on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.

It’s no surprise that “Dune: Part Two” continues to dominate the No. 1 position for the second week in a row with the highest mentions, during the week of its theatrical premiere, which earned the biggest box office opening in five months. “Wonka,” which will be streaming on Max starting March 8, comes in strong at No. 2, making it a big week for Timothée Chalamet, who stars in both Warner Bros. distributed films.

AMC’s much-anticipated “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” leaps onto the list following its Feb. 25 premiere. The spinoff series features the return of core cast members Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick Grimes and Michonne.

Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” lands at No. 4 as it heads into a promising Oscars weekend. “Kung Fu Panda 4” rounds out the Top 5 as the Jack Black-led animated feature prepares to open this Friday, March 8. “Avatar: The Last Airbender” joins the list — the popular Nickelodeon animated TV series has fans tuning in to watch Netflix’s new live-action remake.

“Bob Marley: One Love” holds on for another week on the list, coming in at No. 6. The upcoming Marvel film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” the only theatrical MCU debut of 2024, returns to the list at No. 7, as more details about the movie begin to circulate. “Barbie,” streaming on Max, lands at No. 9. New to the list and rounding out the Top 10 is “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” which opens in theaters on March 29.
