Eamonn Holmes has revealed that his chronic pain started with a dislocated pelvis, joking that it was “not as erotic as it sounds”.

The This Morning presenter has been struggling with “draining and debilitating” pain in recent weeks and has been chronicling his battle and subsequent insomnia on social media.

According to The Irish Independent, Holmes has now shared that the problem started when he “mysteriously” dislocated his pelvis.

“My back is now out of alignment as a result,” he said.

The 61-year-old said he “can’t remember what life was like without the pain”.

“Nobody knows what it’s like unless they live with someone who has it,” he said. “I’m in huge pain and nobody knows how to stop it. This hurts like hell and I need to find a way to overcome it.”

The TV star recently shared with fans that he had been to hospital to try to get to the bottom of his problem and he has also turned to physiotherapy.

Another thing Holmes has tried is cold showers, telling his social media followers that they “dull inflammation and breathe energy back into your body”.
