EastEnders will air more Max Branning twists tonight (December 14) as further truths come to light.
Max (Jake Wood) has recently gone public with his scandalous scheme for revenge against Albert Square, but even now, his family only know the half the story.
With his daughters Lauren and Abi refusing to give him the time of day, Max has found support from his understanding brother Jack – who is determined to help him get back on his feet again.
But as Jack continues to encourage Max to move on from his troubles and face Walford, he soon realises the battle is much harder than he thought.
Realising that no one is planning to forgive and forget Max anytime soon, Jack's sibling loyalty starts to waver when he makes more unsettling discoveries about the extent of Max's scheming.
Jack is later blown away when he returns home and gets another big shock, but is he about to find out how treacherous Max has been? And if so, will it cost Max one of his only remaining allies?
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
