Yahoo News EastEnders' Bernadette uncovers a dark secret
EastEnders teen Bernadette Taylor may be left harbouring a secret tonight (December 12) after hearing too much at The Albert.
Bernadette (Clair Norris) has decided that she needs to start helping her family with their finances more, so she convinces Vincent Hubbard to give her a job.
As Bernadette starts work collecting glasses at The Albert, it's pretty poor timing as Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin) chooses this exact location to gather his new gang of criminal associates together.
Aidan has big plans for a dangerous but highly rewarding criminal job in the New Year and has already recruited Vincent and Phil Mitchell to help him.
In tonight's EastEnders episode, Aidan arranges a meeting to discuss the finer details – with new recruits Mick Carter and Keanu Taylor invited along too.
Keanu (Danny Walters) doesn't want his family to know that he's involved with anything dodgy, but as the group talk about what's ahead, they're unsettled to realise that Bernadette has been listening.
Bernadette nervously promises Vincent that she didn't hear anything, but everyone is worried that she could threaten their plans before they've even begun.
Will Keanu be able to keep his sister quiet?
EastEnders airs tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
