Emer Kenny has denied an EastEnders return, as speculation over a comeback for Zsa Zsa Carter has grown in light of an upcoming storyline.
Next week, the BBC soap will introduce newcomer Georgi, who appears to have a connection with Kenny's character last seen in September 2010.
Episodes will see Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) rushing to pregnant Georgi's aid after spotting her looking unwell in the cafe. When Georgi later turns up at The Vic, it quickly becomes apparent that she is familiar with Shirley (Linda Henry) – leaving Tina suspicious.
Tina eventually discovers that Georgi is a friend of Zsa Zsa. She tries to open up to Georgi about her past actions and relationship with her daughter.
Tina then reaches out to Georgi's mother and gives away Georgi's whereabouts, which causes the newcomer to panic.
The storyline has got some people wondering if the introduction of Georgi means we will see Zsa Zsa back on Albert Square at some point. But on social media, actress Kenny said she has no plans to reprise the character for the time being.

"Not at the moment," she said, responding to a fan question.
Of course, that doesn't mean Zsa Zsa is gone from our screens for good. Firstly, Kenny hasn't definitively ruled out a return. And secondly, soaps do like to recast roles from time to time.
