EastEnders fans are suspicious about Woody Woodward's true intentions, accusing him of actually being Max Branning's secret accomplice.

Woody (Lee Ryan) has been sent to manage the Walford pub in the absence of Mick and Linda Carter, but his arrival hasn't been all that popular with the rest of the clan.

And the latest shady move came when he told Whitney Carter (Shona McGarty) off for getting in touch with Mick to tell him what was happening.

"Don't you think that's Linda's decision to make, not yours?" Woody said to Whitney. "I mean, at the end of the day, we just work here.

"It's really none of our business, is it?"

Woody remains a mystery, but we know that Max has his eyes set on the Queen Vic. So could Woody be acting as Max's inside person?

Viewers at home seem to think so:

Fans can expect more from Woody in the coming week, as the newcomer will make himself even more unpopular at the pub by making a shock decision which has huge consequences.

Yikes.

EastEnders airs on BBC One.
