Yahoo News EastEnders fans debate what's going to happen to Jane
Tonight's (October 20) episode of EastEnders saw Jane Beale leave Albert Square, but not for the reasons everyone thought.
As she was driven away in a taxi, she left Ian a voicemail explaining that they were being watched, and her leaving is part of her plan to get their lives back on track.
She didn't reveal that it was Max Branning who was threatening and intimidating her, but it's the closest she's come to exposing him. So, with her plan in motion, will she return to take Max down? Or is she going to get murdered by the cabbie who the camera suspiciously lingered on...?
That theory is just one of the many reactions viewers had to tonight's episode. Some praised Laurie Brett's acting, while others loved that Jane got to call out Kathy's hypocrisy before she left:
