EastEnders: First Look At Paul Coker's Heartbreaking Funeral

It has been over a month since EastEnders’ viewers were left heartbroken by the brutal murder of Paul Coker [Jonny Labey], but the 20 year old’s funeral is finally set to take place next week.

Fans of the show will need their tissues at the ready as Paul’s grandparents, Pam and Les, break down at the service, with it all becoming too much for Pam when she goes to visit Paul’s body.

The Albert Square favourite was brutally murdered in a homophobic attack last month in what was considered one of the most upsetting and distressing EastEnders’ deaths of all time.

It has been reported that Pam and Les will fall out at the funeral after Pam accuses her husband of being “too professional” as he leads the funeral procession in a bid to ensure that his grandson gets the send off that he deserves.

Paul’s boyfriend, Ben Mitchell, will also be noticeably absent from the funeral as his quest for revenge on Paul’s attackers leads to him missing his chance for a final goodbye.

The heartrending scenes are set to air next week, and we’re already stocking up on the Kleenex.
