EastEnders guest star addresses age criticism over bully Logan

EastEnders' Liam Hatch has addressed some of the criticism over his character Logan.

The school bully is currently making Denzel Danes' life a misery on screen, but following yesterday's (January 29) episode of the BBC One soap, some viewers were quick to question guest star Hatch's age.

One user on X, formerly Twitter, joked that "this schoolboy sold me my mortgage".

Hatch is 27 years old, having previously appeared in Doctor Who spin-off Class and last year's The Burning Girls, which means he's playing someone around a decade younger.

Finding the funny side of some of the online comments, Hatch shared a screenshot from one of his EastEnders scenes on his Instagram Stories.

"Logan. The most talked about bully on the street. (PS... I don't sell mortgages 😂)", he captioned the post.

On the soap, Denzel will be seen this week getting into an altercation with Liam, but ends up feeling guilty when Yolande is humiliated by Logan's gang.

Denzel struggles in the aftermath, which causes friction between him and Amy.
