EastEnders landlady Linda Carter will leave her young son Ollie in dreadful danger next week as she refuses to face up to her problems.

Linda's issues with alcohol have spiralled out of control in recent months, leaving her husband Mick at a loss over how to help her.

Still refusing to seek proper help, a hungover Linda (Kellie Bright) has a nasty run-in with fellow school mum Shelly while dropping Ollie off at school.

Linda is left further humiliated when her card is later declined and she quickly realises that Mick is behind it.

With tensions between the Carters now at an all-time high, Chantelle Atkins grows concerned when she sees how drunk Linda is and attempts to intervene.

Unfortunately, Chantelle's interference only serves to add fuel to the fire and Linda retaliates by lashing out again.

However, as Chantelle leaves, Linda is mortified that Ollie saw. Things soon go from bad to worse at The Vic when Linda drunkenly falls asleep upstairs, leaving Ollie unsupervised and in terrible danger. Will he be alright?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, February 3 at 8pm on BBC One.
