EastEnders' Linda Carter hits the bottle yet again next week as she struggles to cope with two major problems.
The Walford soap is about to revisit Linda's grief for her soulmate Mick – as well as her ongoing guilt over the death of Keanu Taylor.
Early next week, Linda becomes emotional at the Queen Vic as she reflects on how Father's Day is coming up soon.
The occasion is a reminder of how much Linda misses Mick, who's presumed dead after his devastating accident at Christmas 2022.

Linda's mum Elaine and son Johnny rally round her, but they also risk making matters worse by planning a Father's Day event at the pub.
Meanwhile, Linda's week takes another difficult turn when Bernie Taylor reveals that Keanu's funeral is taking place in a few days' time.
Bernie asks if she can hold the wake at The Vic, which Elaine agrees to. However, this sends a guilty Linda into a new spiral as she heads off to drink.
Johnny interrupts Linda and asks what she's doing. Thinking quickly, Linda lies that she's off to find Sharon to tell her the news about the funeral.

Bernie beats Linda to it and informs Sharon about Keanu's send-off. Sharon is shocked to learn from Johnny that Linda already knew.
Before anyone can discuss the matter further, Johnny and Sharon find Linda intoxicated in the pub's barrel store.
Johnny and Sharon are forced to unite to help Linda to sober up. They take her upstairs, where Linda attempts to sleep off her drunken state.

Sharon confides in Kathy Beale about the troubling situation and is adamant that she must help her friend.
Sharon books Linda into an AA meeting and encourages her to go, although she recommends listening to the other participants rather than speaking up herself.
There's a panicked moment for Sharon when Linda decides to speak against her advice. What will she say?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11.
