Yahoo News EastEnders outburst sees Lauren turn nasty with Steven
Steven Beale is left upset on EastEnders next week as his girlfriend Lauren Branning has some harsh words for him.
The couple's relationship is coming under strain thanks to the impact of Lauren's new job – not least because her boss is handsome Clark Kent lookalike Josh Hemmings (Eddie Eyre).
Next week's episodes see Lauren's responsibilities cause even more drama when she gets ready for an important presentation at work.
Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) has been looking forward to the opportunity to prove herself – and she's given a confidence boost when one of her colleagues mentions how much she's impressed Josh with her work recently.
Unfortunately, there's an unexpected development when Josh suddenly realises that something isn't right with Lauren and sends her home.
Later on, Steven (Aaron Sidwell) tries to assure Lauren that missing out on the presentation doesn't matter, but his casual attitude is the last thing she needs right now.
Steven is stung when he finds himself on the receiving end of Lauren's sharp tongue, as she unfairly takes her frustrations out on him.
Later on in the week, Lauren's nosy younger sister Abi realises that all is not well in her relationship with Steven and tries her best to help.
Lauren also turns to Stacey (Lacey Turner) for some support, but how honest will she be about her current situation and her feelings for Josh?
