Yahoo News EastEnders panic for Max tonight after Charlie's return
EastEnders bad boy Max Branning will find himself on dangerous ground tonight (December 15) in the aftermath of Charlie Cotton's return.
Max's world looked set to implode once again when Charlie made a surprise comeback to Albert Square, six months after one of Max's evil schemes meant Charlie had been forced to take his biological son Matthew away from Jack.
Fans will have to wait and see whether the truth comes out or not, but we can reveal that things will grow far worse for Max in Friday's dramatic episode.
As more of his past actions catch up with him, Max will find himself more isolated than ever before, leaving him more volatile than ever.
It's already been revealed that Max will be turning his attention back to Phil and Ian in upcoming scenes, as he vows to get final revenge on his two biggest enemies.
Of course, we know that this story is leading to an explosive Christmas episode in which all of Max's secrets are due to be exposed in true EastEnders style. Is Charlie's return the start of Max's ultimate downfall?
