Later on, though, Stuart has a change of heart and hands the drugs he’s bought to Jada, before making an attempt to find Linda and apologise. But things don’t go his way, and when a riled-up Stuart then finds himself unable to get an appointment to see the GP, he ends up taking drastic action at the surgery.
Attempting to defuse the situation, Bernie apologises to a frantic Stuart for not realising he was living with PND and for helping Rainie to leave the Square. But convinced he’s been misdiagnosed, Stuart grows increasingly desperate…
Amy’s shock collapse
So, the drugs that Jada receives from Stuart (see above), will end up being confiscated by Denise after they fall from her purse. But Lily then steals the illicit stash, while Amy – who’s desperate to impress Denzel – ends up taking half a pill.
When Densie subsequently realises that the drugs have gone missing, she heads out in search of the local teens in the belief that the disappearance must be down to them. But she and Jack are met with a shocking sight when they come across Amy just as she’s about to collapse.
After Denise calls an ambulance, paramedics attend to Amy, while Martin pushes Lily for answers as to where the drugs come from – jumping to the erroneous conclusion that Denzel is responsible.
Linda confronts Janine
Linda is distressed about her upcoming court hearing and confides in Mick about her fears of being separated from Annie. During the heart to heart, the Carters almost kiss, but are ultimately interrupted by Jada.
Later in the week, Janine’s efforts to flirt with Mick backfire, as he’s clearly preoccupied with concerns about Linda. Offering support, the landlord then asks his ex to go to over the exact details of the accident and encourages her to search her call log online.
As Linda does this, she discovers that she made a call to the Queen Vic at the time in question. A call that Sharon remembers was answered by Janine! Cue a showdown between Linda and her rival for Mick’s affections…
Billy admits his feelings for Honey
There’s a case of the green-eyed monster for Billy, who clocks Honey in the company of Finlay at the Minute Mart. But the jealous Mr Mitchell can’t help but feel heartened when he learns that Honey has decided not to go on a date with Finlay.
For his part, Finlay has worked out that Billy is still pining after Honey. And after the two guys chat, Billy reveals that Honey is the only woman for him – an admission that leaves Finlay wondering what he can do to help.
