EastEnders spoilers: Amy’s shock secret revealed, Alfie held at gunpoint

Sam is left shocked by Amy’s actions on EastEnders next week, plus a masked gunman targets Alfie.

Sam discovers Amy’s shocking secret

Sam wants to blag an invite to a belated birthday dinner for Amy, during which she aims to build bridges with Ricky.

Monday’s episode will see Sam calling at the Branning house with a dress to give to Amy. And after letting herself in with her old set of keys, Sam heads upstairs, only to be left shocked by what she sees when she walks in on Amy. Later on at the Vic, Sam accosts Jack in the gents’ toilet and reveals all about what she witnessed, not realising until it’s too late that Amy is at the door and has heard everything.

In the aftermath of all this, Jack becomes fixated on Denzel and grows convinced that Amy’s behaviour has changed since he arrived on the scene. Cue Jack demanding that Howie keep Denzel away from Amy. And as things get increasingly heated, Jack ends up punching Howie in a showdown witnessed by Denise and Kim.

Alfie is held at gunpoint

Alfie is playing a risky game with the boys: guessing the number of Phil’s safe. After working it out, they find serious cash inside. But when Sam arrives suddenly on the scene, Alfie orders his sons to put the money back.

Later on, after ferrying Vi to bingo, Alfie is left startled when a masked gunman by the name of Keith jumps into the cab he’s driving. Keith orders Alfie to put his foot on it as he’s just robbed a building society. But the criminal's ears prick up when Stacey calls Alfie and reveals that the Moon boys have told her all about “the safe game”.

Hearing that the safe contains £30,000, Keith then orders Alfie at gunpoint to take him to Phil’s place. As a result of this drama, Alfie will be left having to deal with the fact that he’s lost Phil a stack of cash. His first move? To try and persuade Mick to “invest” in a food festival. But after Mick declines, to whom will Alfie next turn?

Denzel bonds with Patrick

Meanwhile, Denzel will be seen struggling to cope with the unfolding situation as regards Amy and all the gossip that comes with it. Hence him receiving some words of wisdom from Patrick. Howie, though, is left wishing he could reach through to his son so easily.

However, by Thursday, the two men will be seen deciding to take advantage of the internet being down by playing dominoes with Denzel, who opens up about his complicated feelings for Amy.

Kim, though, proceeds to break the mood by storming in and turning the router back on – all of which leaves Denzel realising that he’s been tricked!

Can Whitney snare Zack?

Chelsea is away, so fun-loving Finlay and Felix are determined to throw a party – much to Whitney’s initial concern. But when the boys mention that Zack is on the invite list and is currently looking for love, Whit has a change of heart.

The trouble is, Zack turns up at the do with another girl, Mandy. But might he and Whit eventually find themselves in each other’s orbit?
